چکیده
The deployment of photocatalysis for remediation water has not yet been realized, although laboratory-scale studies have demonstrated promise. Accomplishing this requires the development as a process, including studying its efficiencies in remedying when high volumes are processed, and addressing recovery, possible regeneration reuse photocatalysts. To that end, work is aimed at demonstrating use custom-built mobile platform disinfecting large quantities water. benchtop built capable processing 15.14 L (4 gallons) per minute water, with possibility further scale-up. Preliminary on catalyst via gravity-assisted settling, centrifugation air plasma treatment indicated 77% Aeroxide® P25 titania (TiO2) nanoparticle 57% porous TiO2 nanowire photocatalysts could be recovered regenerated use. Overall, study process improvements, increasing kinetics photocatalysis, optimization efficacies recovery processes will make it useful any scale. More importantly, portable flexible nature system makes amenable conjunction existing technologies

simulation and experimental studies for prediction mineral scale formation in oil field during mixing of injection and formation water
abstract: mineral scaling in oil and gas production equipment is one of the most important problem that occurs while water injection and it has been recognized to be a major operational problem. the incompatibility between injected and formation waters may result in inorganic scale precipitation in the equipment and reservoir and then reduction of oil production rate and water injection rate. ...
A review of heterogeneous photocatalysis for water and surface disinfection.
Photo-excitation of certain semiconductors can lead to the production of reactive oxygen species that can inactivate microorganisms. The mechanisms involved are reviewed, along with two important applications. The first is the use of photocatalysis to enhance the solar disinfection of water. It is estimated that 750 million people do not have accessed to an improved source for drinking and many...

Validation of large-scale, monochromatic UV disinfection systems for drinking water using dyed microspheres.
Dyed microspheres have been developed as a new method for validation of ultraviolet (UV) reactor systems. When properly applied, dyed microspheres allow measurement of the UV dose distribution delivered by a photochemical reactor for a given operating condition. Prior to this research, dyed microspheres had only been applied to a bench-scale UV reactor. The goal of this research was to extend t...
